Active Voice and Passive Voice

A. Simple Present Tense
  • Active    : He meets them everyday.
  • Passive  : They are met by him everyday.
  • Active    : She waters this plant every two days.
  • Passive  : This plant is watered by her every two days.
B. Present Continuous Tense
  • Active    : He is meeting them now.
  • Passive  : They are being met by him now.
  • Active    : She is watering this plant now.
  • Passive  : This plant is being watered by her now.
C. Present Perfect Tense
  • Active    : He has met them
  • Passive  : They have been met by him
  • Active    : She has watered this plant for 5 minutes.
  • Passive  : This plant has been watered by her for 5 minutes.
D. Present Perfect Continuous Tense 
  • Active   : Doni has been studying mathematics since last night
  • Passive : Mathematics has been being studied by Doni since last night
  • Active  : I have been being writing poetry
  • Passive: Poetry has been being written by me
E. Simple Past Tense
  • Active   : Doni and Naufal drank tea together
  • Passive : Tea was drunk by Doni and Naufal
  • Active   : Algi and Oka hit my bottom
  • Passive : My bottom was hit by Algi and Oka
F. Past Continuous Tense
  • Active  : They were reading a newspaper
  • Passive : Newspaper were being read by them
  • Active  : My mother was buying some toys for me
  • Passive : Some toys were being bought by my mother for me
G. Past Perfect Tense
  • Active  : My brother has seen a ghost
  • Passive : A ghost had been seen by my brother
  • Active  : She had done her project
  • Passive : Her project had been done by her
H. Past Perfect Continuous Tense
  • Active  : They had been playing football
  • Passive : Football had been being play by them
  • Active  :  They had been watering this plant
  • Passive : This plant had been being watered by them
I. Future Tense
  • Active  : They will visit Pontianak
  • Passive : Pontianak will be visited by them
  • Active  : I will sing a song for you
  • Passive : A song will be sung by me for you
J. Future Continuous Tense
  • Active  : I will hit your bottom
  • Passive : Your bottom will be hitted by me
  • Active  : Doni will buy some cake
  • Passive : Some cake will be bought by Doni
K. Future Perfect Tense
  • Active  : She will have eaten spagheti
  • Passive : Spagheti will have been eaten by her
  • Active  : Fertin and Doni  will have sung a song
  • Passive : A song will have been by Fertin and doni
L. Future Perfect Tense
  • Active  : She will have learned music
  • Passive : Music will have been learned by her
  • Active  : We will have been sold some toys
  • Passive : Some toys will have been sold by us
